Padi Specialty Courses
Are you interested in specific diving activities, for example wreck diving or deep diving? Then a PADI specialty course is something for you. Together with an instructor you make fun dives and you'll learn a lot and receive specific information on this diving activity. Fun and educational.
Phuket dash Scuba dot Com (www.diving-phuket.eu) can offer you a lot of specialties. For some you need to make two dives, for others three or four. And: the dives you have already made for your PADI Advanced Open Water Course can be credited towards the specialty course, or if you did not do the advanced course yet the other way around of course.

enriched air - nitrox

The most populair specialty course is the PADI enriched air or Nitrox Course.
Diving with enriched air nitrox lets you safely extend your no stop time beyond the no decompression limits for air.
Diving with enriched air means more time underwater and most divers feel better, less tired, after diving with Nitrox – but you need to be certified as an Enriched Air Diver to get enriched air fills.

Whether you’re into underwater photography or wreck diving, on vacation in some tropical paradise or just out for a leisurely day of diving at your local dive site, the PADI Enriched Air Diver course helps you get more out of diving by giving you more time underwater.
During the course you will learn how to analyse cylinder contents, plan enriched air dives using tables or dive computers and safely increase your no stop time.
This is a somewhat different course than most specialties, since it requires a bit more theory.
That is why for this course we will need one and a half till two days. This course has the additional advantage that it can be easily combined with other courses, even the Open Water Course, but normally with the Advanced Course or with specialty courses like deep and wreck. Including certification, PADI manual, two dives and diveplanner 8,250 Baht. In combination with another course the Nitrox course costs 5,500 Baht. This is also the price for the Nitrox course without the optional dives but including certification.
This course can start every day of the week.

To finish the course, all you have to do is the practical application and if you want the optional dives, the charge for that (including 2 dives and certification) is 5,500 Baht.

Besides the already mentioned Nitrox Course we can offer you quite a few other specialty courses. The costs for a specialty course are 2,700 Baht per dive, excluding certification costs. The number of dives varies per course, you will find this number in the tabel below. The non-diving courses are 2,000 Baht for the first participant, 1,000 Baht for each next participant.

To reach the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you need five PADI specialty courses. So you are fast on your way to this very distinctive level. You earn it by diving, writing your ticket to endless adventures through the experience and training that set you apart as a PADI Master Scuba Diver.
With the Master Scuba Diver rating, you've reached the highest non professional level in the PADI System of diver education.
It means that you’ve acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

To qualify for the Master Scuba Diving rating, you need a minimum number of 50 logged dives, you need to be PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization), 12 years old and have five PADI Specialty Diver certifications.
Since everybody is interested in different specialty courses, we can not give you a fixed price for this. But let us know which specialty courses you're interested in, and we'll let you know what this is going to cost.
If you're not interested in any more recreational diving courses, you can choose our professional diving course: the PADI Divemaster course.
Or you can simply go fun diving: daytrips, all Phuket daytrip diving destinations every day of the week, liveaboard diving to the Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock, Hin Daeng, Hin Muang and the Phi Phi Islands, and snorkeltrips for the non-divers.
